A FEW OF MY INTERESTS
FinanciaL AND Economic Trends
Finance and economics has a subjective element to it rooted in logic. However it can be measured through quantification. Matt has had the opportunity to focus a significant portion of his career in this area. Using quantifiable measurements and thoughtful open dialogue helps to steer companies in the right direction and allows teams to understand market risks ahead.
Innovation
Matt believes the innovation of new technologies, even when disrupting more established institutions, is extremely important for continued economic development; particularly in developing countries competing with globalization. He has a passion to be a part of creating and scaling new technological growth companies whether as an advisor or in a leadership role.
tENNIS
Matt has aways had a competitive side to him. He started playing tennis competitively at the age of seven. Since then through college he trained an average of three-four hours a day becoming nationally ranked at a young age, and later receiving a scholarship at a NCAA division one college. Tennis brought many ups and downs and taught him the importance of dedication, humility and fortitude.
Philosophy
Matt enjoys reading or talking about anything philosophy related. Whether it was reading Karl Popper’s Philosophy of Science or Alan Watts’ Wisdom of Insecurity; the search for truth and it’s related dialogue has always been a passion of his. Matt is a philosopher at heart and attempts to view life through that perspective.
